Juggernauts

Steve Adkisson wrote the book Juggernauts about the making of a runner and a team in the first American running boom. Through AG I have learned more and more about the culture that is running and have seen first hand the outlet that running can provide for athletes to give back. Please check out his book HERE

Cures Rock! Tour

The Cures Rock! Tour is more than an endurance event. This extreme challenge intends to make a significant impact on the lives of over 913,000 Americans living with blood cancers through the use of inspiration, public awareness, encouragement, and campaigning efforts.

For the main event, Mike Sheehy will run 500 miles, from San Diego to Phoenix. He will run an ultramarathon – more than 30 miles – each day for 17 days. In the process, he will attempt to break a record – and help raise thousands of dollars for cancer research, too. A team of marathoners will fundraise and run along with Sheehy—making up a support relay team—with all involved finishing the run at the 2010 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon on January 17, 2010.

Run Tellman Run

This is an AWESOME story! Just goes to show athletes know NO LIMITS when it comes to a cause they care about. I still can’t believe it. You have to check it out and if you believe in him, support the fella.
