This site is meant to inspire, discuss, showcase and educate people about philanthropy through the stories of other athletes giving back.  People are passionate about their sports.  A strong foundation starts with passion and that’s why so many successful organizations can be traced back to athletes.  You don’t have to be a professional athlete to be a part of the site though.  Nike’s vision says, “If you have a body, you’re an athlete.”  At Athletesgiving, we couldn’t agree more.  Everyone can find passion in athleticism.  The next step is sharing that passion with others who don’t have that opportunity. That’s what this website is a resource for.
